Malloree Beth Murphy was born October 6, 1995 in Knoxville, Iowa.
Malloree graduated from Knoxville High Schoool with the Class of 2014.
Malloree was active in swim team from early childhood and joined the Knoxville/Indianola High School team as a freshman and was voted to be the swim team captain in her final year. She was also a lifeguard.
Following high school, she obtained her CNA certification and had been employed by Pleasant Care Living Center and West Ridge Nursing & Rehab. She had recently applied to nursing school, to follow in her mother and grandmother’s footsteps.
In her spare time, Malloree loved to fish and attend the Knoxville races. Malloree will be remembered as a caring and compassionate care-giver, and the most amazing mother to her daughters, Addison and Kinsley.
Malloree passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the age of 22 years.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruth Graves and her grandfather, Gerald Michael Murphy.
Those left to cherish Malloree’s memory include her daughters, Addison and Kinsley; mother, Shannon Murphy of Indianola; brother, Alex Murphy; sisters: Holle, Rose and Lille Murphy; aunts: Allison (Kurt) Dittmer, Lisa Weldon, Kris Murphy and Kathy (David) Ridnouer; uncles: Alan (Bobby) Graves and David and Will Murphy; grandparents: Arden (Lynda) Graves and Sally Murphy; cousin, Avery; her lifelong best friend, Delaney Woodruff and many other family members and friends.
Funeral Services for Malloree Murphy, age 22 of Knoxville, will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Celebrate Church in Knoxville.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Celebrate Church.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the family.
