Linda (Marsh) Galvin passed away Feb. 17, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City after a prolonged illness.
A memorial service was held on Feb. 21 at the Bussey Memorial Hall in Bussey. where her life was celebrated by family and friends. Linda was born Jan. 29, 1946, to Clarence and Opal (Neifert) Marsh in Knoxville. She grew up in Bussey and then moved to Knoxville where she lived for many years.
Linda married Gary Galvin in 1963. They subsequently divorced, but remained close friends. Linda is survived by, and will be very much missed by, her daughter Tralawney Trueblood of Cedar Rapids, her son Gary Galvin of Knoxville, her granddaughter Callarisse Trueblood, and her grandsons Brandon and Ryan Galvin.
Linda is also survived by her brothers Bob Marsh of Bussey, Ronald Marsh of Eddyville, and her sister Leah Garrett of Coralville. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Patricia.
