Leta LaVonne (Agan) Nichols, 95, of Knoxville, IA, was born November 30, 1923 and passed away Friday, July 12, 2019, at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics.
Leta was the wife of late Robert “Curly” Nichols, and is survived by her son, Lee W. Nichols and Lorna Arnett, her daughter Lou Ann and her husband, Bob Willis all of Knoxville; six grandchildren: Matt Nichols, Andy Nichols, Mike Willis, Tim Willis, Heather Collins, Heidi Ingram, 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marjorie Clark of Knoxville.
Funeral services will be held
Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 10:00 am
Williams Funeral Home, Knoxville, Iowa
Interment will follow in the Olive Chapel Cemetery, Marion County, Iowa
Visitation will begin after 1:00 pm Tuesday at Williams Funeral Home with the family present from 5:30 to 8:00 pm
Memorial contributions are suggested for Marion County Cattlemen Scholarship Fund, Columbia United Methodist Church building fund, or Olive Chapel Cemetery.
