Graveside memorial services for Kirk Brenton McCombs age 58 of Knoxville will be
held on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Breckenridge Cemetery. The family
will meet at Bybee & Davis Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and proceed to the
cemetery.
Kirk worked for Iowa Paint for over 30 years as the head of data processing until
the company sold. For the last two years, he has been self-employed.
Kirk passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Mercy Hospital, in Des Moines.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Jennifer McCoy of Des Moines; son, Drew McCombs of Des Moines; mother, Gene McCombs of Knoxville; wife, Cheryl of Pleasant Hill; 1 grandchild, Geneva Faye McCoy; eight step-grandchildren; sister-
in-law, Dixie McCombs of Boone; seven nieces and nephews; and many cousins that will miss him.
