Services for Kenneth Edward Jarrell, 72, of Attica, who died Jan. 13, 1982 at the Veterans Administration Hospital at Knoxville, were held Jan. 16 at St. Anthony Church, Knoxville.
Bybee & Davis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.
Rev. Theodore H. Hay officiated at the services. Music was provided by Mary Stultz, organist, and the St. Anthony Choir.
Pallbearers were Louie Erb, Irvin Massick, Robert Lee, Leonard Nichols, John Decet, and Herman Bilterman.
Rosary services were held on Jan. 15 at Bybee & Davis Funeral Home.
Mr. Jarrell was born March 20, 1909 in Marion Co., the son of Marion and Dessie Kinser Jarrell.
He attended schools in this area and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1926 and attended St. Ambrose College for two years.
He was employed in the Supply Dept. at the Knoxville Veterans Administration Hospital from Nov. 23, 1936, until the fall of 1966.
He was married to Elsie Gladys Christensen in June 1938 in Knoxville.
He was a member of St.Anthony Church and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys; one brother James R. Jarrell of LaMont, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. John (Theodoshis) Corssen of Sigourney, IA, and Mrs. Forest (Susan) Robuck of Knoxville, Mrs. Adolph (Georgia) Herduin of Newton.
