Graveside services for Kenneth L. Durham, 81, of Ely, Nevada, who died May 3, 1997, at the White Pine Care Center, were held May 6, 1997, at the Ely City Cemetery in Ely, Nevada.
Pallbearers were John Cobb, Stephen Cobb, Loyde Cobb, Mike Kirby, George Carnes, and Fook Quong.
Kenneth was born September 18, 1915, in Knoxville, the son of Arza and Nancy Durham. He was united in marriage to Geraldine Bousquet.
He was the manager of the Gamble’s Store in Des Moines, Lawrence, Kan., and Knoxville.
He was also the advertising manager at the Knoxville Journal for a few years. He managed Western Auto Stores in Glendale, Calif., Azusa, Calif., Montebello, Calif., and Ely, Nevada. He retired in Ely in 1980.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Geraldine; and two sisters, Dorothy Durham and Lorraine Van Gorp.
He is survived by three daughters, Kae Lynn Caston of Farmington, Minn., Karon R. Dykstra
of Knoxville, and Kathy Lee Cobb of Ely, Nevada; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
