Donald Keith Fee, 74, of Bussey, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, at the West Ridge Nursing
& Rehabilitation Center. The body was cremated and the family gathered in remembrance
on Thursday, Jan. 10, at the Bussey United Methodist Church.

Donald was born in Marion County west of Pleasantville on Jan. 16, 1927, the son
of Timothy and Violet (Noftsger) Fee. He was raised west of Knoxville. He served
in World War II and was honorably discharged.

He married Dixie Trinkle on July 30, 1960, and into this union were Don's four children
from a previous marriage. At that time, Don worked for Cunningham Motors in Knoxville.
In 1962, he moved his family southwest of Bussey and farmed until his retirement
in 1989.

Don was an avid outdoorsman. He loved his coon dogs and mules, hunting, fishing
and even liked to put on an apron and cook up a storm when the mood struck him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Vivian Rowley; and a great-granddaughter,
Meredith Danielle Fee. He is survived by his wife, Dixie of Knoxville; three sons
and daughters-in-law, Tim and Lolly of Attica, Dennis and Pat of Knoxville and Mike
and Evelyn of Oskaloosa; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bob Messamaker of
Knoxville; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill of Dallas,
Ross of Knoxville and Dale of Eddyville; three sisters, Velma Perky and Veda Kendrick
of Knoxville and Verda Dean Allen of Bussey; and many other family members and friends.
