Kathy Louise (Stubbs) Harvey age 71, of Knoxville passed away Saturday morning surrounded by her family at her home in Knoxville.

Kathy was born in Knoxville, Iowa on June 28, 1941, the daughter of Ralph Caffrey and Carolyn Louise (Jones) Stubbs. She graduated from Knoxville High School, class of 1959.

After her high school she worked for a short time in the meat department at Hy-Vee before becoming a home maker. Later she worked for the Knoxville Hospital.

On December 23, 1972 at Kathy’s sisters home in Knoxville Kathy was united in marriage to Lyle Edwin Harvey. They shared over 42 years of marriage before Kathy’s passing.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.

She loved flowers, bird watching, watching the squirrels outside the window and looking for deer.

Kathy is survived by her husband Lyle Harvey of Knoxville; three children: Kimberly Sue Cook and Dan Sampson of Miles City, Montana, Donald Martinache and Amanda Irving of Knoxville and Richard Kevin Martinache and Joe Claibourn of Adel; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Kathy is also survived by two sisters Loretta Woolridge of Knoxville and Jennifer (Tom) Krpan of Melcher. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Carolyn and one nephew Michael Woolridge

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26th, at the Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville. Burial will follow services at the Bellefountaine Cemetery of Tracy.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville. Kathy’s family will be greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home.
