Catherine G. (Johnston) VandeWall, 45, of Knoxville, died, September 1, 1999, of leukemia Wednesday at University Hospitals in Iowa City.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Knoxville, of which she was a member.
Mrs. VandeWall was born May 19, 1954, in Iowa Falls and had lived in Knoxville most of her life. She worked for Pella Corp for 24 years.
Survivors include a son, Chris Strovers, and a daughter, Nova Strovers, both of Knoxville; her mother, Delores Johnston of Apache Junction, Ariz.; three brothers, Steve Johnston and Gerald Johnston, both of Knoxville, and Kevin Johnston of Apache Junction; two sisters, Leanna Kennedy and Patricia Sayre, both of Knoxville; her grandmother, Anna Isebrand of Titonka; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the stained-glass ceiling fund at her church.
Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Knoxville, Marion County, Iowa.
