Kathryn Ann Hicks, 69, of Knoxville died of a heart attack Saturday at her home.
Services will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in
Knoxville.
Mrs. Hicks was born in Knoxville and had lived there most of her life. She operated a house cleaning service before retiring in 2001.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Knoxville. She was an avid Hawkeye fan and had read hundreds of books.
She is survived by a her daughter, Debra Holloway of Knoxville: two sons, Jim and Matt. both of Knoxville: two brothers, Richard Kading of Des Moines and Kenneth Kading of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; and a sister, Alberta Miller of Knoxville.
She was pre¬ceded in death by her husband, James.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Lifeline of Iowa.
