Funeral services for Karla K. (Hansen) Willis, 57, of Knoxville, who died January 12, at Knoxville Area Community Hospital, were held January 16, 1995, at Evans-McCleery
Funeral Home in Knoxville.

Burial was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville. The Rev. Bob Ward officiated at the services.
The eulogy was delivered by Dr. Craig Burk. Pallbearers were Stuart Lynch, Larry Lynch, John Lynch,
Jim Lynch, Rick Lynch, and Kim Scheelhaase.

Karla was born April 1, 1937, in Centerville, the daughter of Clarence L. (b.1915-d.1992) and Vivian Mildred Gorman Hansen (b.1913-d.2002). She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1955 and attended the University
of Iowa for two years.

She owned and operated the Sukaro Kennels in Knoxville for the past 17 years. She
was a member of the American Kennel Club and the American Boarding Association.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother, Vivian of Knoxville; a daughter Suzanne Willis of
Knoxville; a son, Rob Willis of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and one grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Companion Animal Fund and the Iowa Animal Lifeline.
