Services for Juanita Daisy (Hartshorn) Moss, 65, of Knoxville, who died on May 10, 1985, at Knoxville Area Community Hospital, were held May 13 at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home.

Interment was in Graceland Cemetery. Pastor Al Johnson officiated at the services. Music was provided by Darlene Mooberry, organist, and Barbara Marvelli, soloist.

Pallbearers were Emmert Binns, Doug Harsin, Dale Mason, Jerry VanWaardhuizen, Paul Harrington, and Barney Darnell.
Honorary bearers were the Knoxville Fire Department.

Mrs. Moss was born on Feb. 18, 1920, in Andersonville, the daughter of Harry and Mahaley Mahaffey Hartshorn.

She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1940. On Aug. 7, 1940, she married Raymond Moss in Unionville, Mo.
She was a member of the Knoxville Church of God and the Knoxville Fire Department Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981; her mother; one sister; one brother; and one daughter-in-law.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Darrell (Raydene) DeJoode of Green Bay, Wisc. and Mrs. Tom (Mahala) Cox of Knoxville; two sons, Mike of Indianola and Pat of Knoxville; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her father, one sister, Harriett Gee, and one brother-in-law Robert, all of Knoxville.

A memorial has been established to the Knoxville Church of God.
