JoAnn (Wooldridge) Cameron, 69, of Tucson, Ariz. passed away on July 14, 2007, in Tucson, Ariz.
She was born on Oct. 9, 1937, in Knoxville to Dale and Verda Wooldridge. She attended school in Knoxville.
Jo Ann married John K. Cameron on Nov. 22, 1956, and resided in the Chicago area from 1956 to 77.
She worked as a hospital ward clerk or doctor’s assistant
while living in the Chicago area. In 1977, they made a career move to Granada Hills,
Calif. and then two years later to Freemont, Calif. where she spent her time being
a homemaker. This was her happiest time boating and fishing in the Delta area.
In 1993, John retired and they moved to Tucson, Ariz. where they resided at the time
of her death. Her childhood nickname was ” Lippy” and she lived up to it.
She was dearly loved and will be missed by her family.
Jo Ann is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, John K. Cameron; her son, John G. Cameron, and her four grandchildren.
She had 15 brothers and sisters besides herself and is preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Memorial services for Jo Ann will be held on July 27 at 11 a.m. at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, Ariz.,
