Jeanette Anne (Funk) Snodgrass was born on April 14, 1923, in Knoxville to Joseph Guy Funk
and Grace Irene (Dennison) Funk.

She was raised in Knoxville and attended Nora Sullivan
and Nell McGowen schools prior to graduating. On May 8, 1948, she married Clyde
M. Snodgrass in Kahoka, Mo.

The couple lived most of their lives in Knoxville. Jeanette
was a dedicated homemaker and mother and Clyde worked as a buyer for a major department
store. Jeanette enjoyed quilting and spending time with friends and family. She
was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Jeanette died on March 20, 2006,
at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital at the age of 82.

She was preceded in death
by her parents; a son, Vance M. Snodgrass; her husband, Clyde M. Snodgrass; a granddaughter,
Cynthia Lynn Wiand and three brothers, Joseph Guy Funk, James Henry Funk, and David Fleming Funk.

Survivors include her daughter, Virginia “Ginger” Wiand of Knoxville, and three sons, Theodore M. (Claire) of Nine Mile Falls, Wash.; Joseph M. (CeAnna)
of Altadena, Calif. and Guy M. of Iowa City; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on March 25 with Giles Card officiating.

Interment was
in Graceland Cemetery.
