Graveside services were held today at Lake Park Cemetery for Mrs. Jane Gardiner, 74, of One Gardiner Place, who died Friday morning, April 11, 1975, at Jones County Community Hospital.

Mrs. Gardiner was the mother of Jim Garrison, former district attorney in New Orleans.

Dr. G.L. Tucker officiated. Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gardiner, a native of Knoxville, Iowa, was born October 1, 1899 and lived in New Orleans for many years before moving to Laurel. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the First Presbyterian Church of Laurel.

In addition to Mr. Garrison, she is survived by a daughter, Miss Judith Doricas Garrison of Laurel, and five grandchildren.
