Funeral services for James Benton Ruckman, who died Jan. 15, 1965 in Veterans hospital, Minneapolis,
Minn. were held Jan. 18 at Osseo, Minn. with military rites and burial in Fort Snelling
National Cemetery.

James Benton, Son of William "Clyde" Ruckman (1878 – 1961)
Myrtle Lura Moore Ruckman (1879 – 1903) was born Aug. 4, 1902 in Knoxville.
He graduated from Knoxville high school and attended Drake Universtiy. He was an
employee of United States Forestry Department with office in Cass Lake, Minn. for
many years.

He was married to Esther Johnson at Cass Lake and to this union one son was born.
He was a WW II veteran, member of Cass Lake American Legion and a past master of
Mason Lodge No 243 (Cass Lake).

He is survived by his wife; son Roger; a brother Joseph E. of Davis, Calif; one
sister Ruth E. Williams of St. Paul, Minn.
and two aunts Mrs. Martha Snow, Knoxville and Mrs. Bertha Ruckman, Monroe.
