James Lowell Clark, 61, a former Knoxville resident, died Sept. 14, 1970, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
James was born May 5, 1908, the son of James Lawrence Clark b.Apr 18, 1860 – d.Aug 22, 1930 and Fannie Orpha Hunter b.1868 -d.1950.
He is survived by his wife, Verla Everly “Penny” Schuknecht b.Nov 21, 1912 d.Nov 9, 1971, a sister Lorein Emily (Fermor Edwin) Crozier b. Mar 3, 1895-d.Dec 4, 1918 and brother of the late Dr. Paul Rouze Clark b.Jun 10, 1896-d.Sep 21,1937.
Funeral services and burial were Sept. 19 at Carlisle, Iowa.
