James Allen Archer, 41, of Troy, formerly of Dyersburg, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2004
at Baptist Hospital in Union City. He was born Mar. 3, 1963.
He was a store clerk. Services will be at 10
a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Miller officiating.
Burial will be at Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5:30
-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Archer, the husband of Johnnie Archer, also
leaves his parents, Lloyd and Dorothy Ray of Troy; five sisters, Mary Gilbertson
of Fargo, N.D., Brenda Beaver of Troy, Shirley Miller of Plant City, Fla., Susan
Walker of Union City and Joy Blackwell of Cleveland; a brother, Kenneth Archer of
Benton Harbor, Mich., and three stepsisters, Darla Smith of Troy, Angela Smith of
Friendship and Lisa Reed of Union City.
Burial: Sorrell Chapel Cemetery Dyersburg
