Services for James William Anderson, 63, of Knoxville, who died June 19, 1987, of heart failure at Pella Community Hospital, were held June 22 at Williams Funeral Home.

Interment was in Gosport Cemetery, Marion County Rev. M.H. Mooberry officiated at the services, music was provided by Darlene Mooberry, organist, and John Crawford, soloist.

Pallbearers were Tom Anderson, Bert and Bill Dennison, Russell Crozier, Roy Goemaat, and Rich Ridlen.

Mr. Anderson was born Aug. 21, 1923 in Marion County, the son of Levi Ray and Goldie Marie Dennison Anderson.

On March 17, 1945 at Knoxville he married Daisy Lurine Clark.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, he lived in Des Moines and attended the American Institute of Business and worked as an accountant and printing sales representative for several years
In 1960, he returned to Marion County where he farmed until 1975 and operated Midwest Business Forms Supply.

He was preceded in death by his mother in 1980 and his father in 1982.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter; Mrs. Dennis (Elaine) Jelsma of Jacksonville, Fla. Three sons, Gary, Larry and David, all of Knoxville, ten grandchildren, and two brothers, Loren and Howard, both of Knoxville.
A memorial has been established to the American Diabetes Association.
