Jack Eugene Kingrey was born November 23, 1958, in Knoxville, Iowa the son of Jack and Blanche (Gullion) Kingrey.
He was raised in Knoxville and graduated with the Class of 1977. Following high school, Jack worked at Bingley Sale Barn and Marion County Produce. On September 15, 1979, he was united in marriage to Nancy Reed at St. Anthony Catholic Church. The couple always made Knoxville their home. In 1983 Jack took a job at 3M in Knoxville and worked there until his retirement in 2016.

In his spare time, Jack enjoyed painting sawblades and turkey feathers. He was also a member of multiple Moose Lodges from Iowa to Florida. He and Nancy enjoyed a family vacation in Florida every year; and traveled there multiple times during retirement. Jack loved baseball, especially when his grandkids were playing. His greatest joy in life was his family and he cherished every one of them.

Jack passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics at the age of 64 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy, and his grandson, Justin Little.

Those left to honor Jack’s memory include his children: Justin (Michelle) Kingrey, Austin (Amanda) Kingrey, and Ashley Kingrey; grandchildren: Austin Little, Reagan Kingrey, Paige Kingrey, Trenten Kingrey, Rylan Kingrey, Briar Kingrey, Garritt Kingrey, Hallie Boender, Bryson Kingrey, Kiaya Kingrey, Jensen Kingrey, and Jaycie Kingrey; parents, Jack and Blanche Kingrey; sister, Ginny Kingrey, and many other family members and friends.
