Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in Newton, IA.

Graveside Services were held Friday, March 17, 2006 at the Gosport Cemetery in rural
Knoxville, IA.

Memorials for Clara may be made to the Hospice of Jasper County or to the American
Cancer Society. Memorials may be left at the funeral home.

Clara was born April 12, 1916 in Columbia, IA. to Franklin Eugene Ray and Floydia
Maude (Wall) Rowland. She has lived in Newton since 1999, had previously lived in
Arizona.

She was married to Robert Glen Bebout on July 18, 1934 in Attica, IA. Clara was
a graduate of Knoxville High School in Knoxville, IA in 1933. She was a bookkeeper
for Hy-Vee for many years.

She was a member of United Methodist Church in Safford, AZ; "Morning Star" Rebekah
Lodge No. 20; she worked for 21 years as a volunteer at the Senior Citizen's Center
in Safford, AZ. She enjoyed watching baseball and doing needle work, crocheting,
knitting, and plastic canvas.

Survivors include two sons, Frederick (Annette) Bebout of Newton and Norman (Sue)
Bebout of Ankeny; nine grandchildren, Kimberly (Kurt) Relitz, Soni (Dan) Ahrens,
Cynithia (Dave) Graves, Michael (Christina) Bebout, Frederick (Emily) Bebout, Jr.,
Carol (Kevin) McConnell, Roy (Susan) Bebout, Steven Bebout, and Daniel (Jennifer)
Bebout; and 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law,
Lanell Rowland of Knoxville and Dana (Don) King of Knoxville.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen in 1982; son, Larry Bebout
in 1993; and two brothers, James and Clinton.
