Funeral services for Mrs. Irene DuBree, who died Jan. 20 at Collins Memorial Hospital, were held Jan. 23 from Bybee & Davis funeral home with Rev. Robert McDonald officiating. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.
Pallbearers were Paul Crews, Robert Swan, James Rees, Gene Sinnard, Jack VanderLinden and Leland VanderLinden.
Mary Ellen Hall, organist accompanied Esther Miller, soloist. Flowers were arranged by Edith Hays and Marilyn Haning.
Mary Irene, daughter of B.D. and Nellie Stone Dotson, was born April 27, 1904 in Knoxville. On June 20, 1925 she was united in marriage to Roy DuBree and spent her entire married life in Knoxville.
She was a member of the First Christian Church. Her parents, two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband Roy; one daughter Mrs. Phillip (Dolores) Bailey and one one grandson of Knoxville.
