Services for Inez (Rietveld) Hudson, 89, of Knoxville, who died Sept. 27, 1990 at Knoxville Area Community Hospital, were held Oct. 1 at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home.
Interment was in Lincoln Cemetery.
Mrs. Hudson was born Oct. 21, 1900 in Clay Township in Marion County, the daughter of John and Mary Schmidt Rietveld.
She was a 1922 graduate of Knoxville High School.
On Dec. 26, 1922 at Knoxville, she married Brownie Hudson.
They farmed until moving to Knoxville in 1981.
She was baptized in the Christian Church and later attended the Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988; her parents; two grandchildren; and one brother, Harold Rietveld.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Helen) Boyt of Des Moines and Mrs. Art (Jeanne) Bellish of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sons, Jack of Middleberg, Va. and Richard of San Antonio, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Revs. Kenneth MacLeod and Giles Card officiated at the services.
Brownie Hudson Music was provided by James Kidder, organist, and Richard Hunt, soloist.
Pallbearers were Donald Goad, Jerry DeJong, Benny and James Brooks, Rodney Johnson and Donald VandenBerg.
