Elton J. “Ike” Harvey, 68, of Swan died of a heart ailment Thursday at his home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville, with burial at Graceland Cemetery there.
Mr. Harvey was born in Knoxville and lived in the Knoxville area before moving to Swan eight years ago. He was retired from Casey’s corporate offices in Des Moines. He was a member of Knoxville Christian Church. He drove and trained horses and mules, and he enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by a daughter, Diane Ellis of Knoxville; a son, Doug, and three sisters, Myreeta Rowland, Ethel Loomis and Virginia Anderson, all of Knoxville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Carolyn Harvey of Swan was his companion.
