Helen Eileen May daughter of the late George W. and Janette Riddle May was born in Columbia May 15, 1901 and died Feb. 11, 1960 at St. Joseph, Mo.

She finished the grade school in Columbia, and graduated from the Knoxville High School and attended Simpson College in Indianola, and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Soroirty there.

She was united in marriage to W. A. Wirene of Columbia. To this union was born one child, a daughter Barbara May Wirene now Mrs. John Hillis of Kansas City.

They made their early home in Schenectady, N. Y., Moving to Kansas City about thirty-three years ago.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her twin brother, Harold, and her brother Jim.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara May and John Hillis; two grandchildren
Stephen and Suzanne Hillis, three sisters Eerato (Mrs. J. E. Wood) of Columbia; Beniti (Mrs. IL L. Bridgeman) and Cleo (Mrs. George Whitlatch) both of Knoxville; one brother Tom May of Ceder Rapids, and many relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from the Evans Arlington Chapel Feb. 14, with Rev. Ellis Andrews officiating

Interment in the family plot at Columbia Cemetery.
