Funeral services for Harry Roger Smith, Who died January 7, 1968 at Collins Memorial Hospital were held Jan. 10, from First Methodist Church was Rev. George I. Yetter officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery near Indianola. Evans Arlington Chapel was in charge of arrangements

Casket-bearers were Harold Hollingshead, Lawrence Barger, Cecil Galvin, Charles Rankin, Gerald Orr and Pleas Fee. Mrs. Harold Hall, organist, accompanied Richard Hunt, soloist. Flowers were arranged by Mrs. Gerald Orr and Mrs. Alvin Uitermarkt.

Harry Roger, Son of Thomas and Minnie King Smith, was born May 20, 1908 at Gilman. He was married to Eleanor Viers. He was a farmer and carpenter for about 37 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Alice) Kincaid of Tracy; three sons, Roger L. and Larry of Des Moines, and Calvin A. of Knoxville. Eight grandchildren, six sisters, three brothers, and a very dear friend, Anna Rankin of Knoxville.
