Funeral services for Grace Susan Dixon, 96, of Knoxville, who died September 18, 1996
at West Ridge Manor Nursing Home, were held September 20, 1996, at Bybee and Davis
Funeral Home in Knoxville.

Burial was at Graceland Cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Moore
officiated at the services. Music was provided by Martha Pritchard, organist. Pallbearers
were Lew Job, Tom Tucker, Bill Shepherd, John Kamerick, Brenton Trabert, and Dwight
Johnston.

Grace was born August 28, 1900, in Caloma, the daughter of Herman and
Blanche Heavner Kading. She was raised in Knoxville and graduated from Knoxville
High School. After graduation, she was employed at Guaranty State Bank. She was
a member of Knoxville First United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Order
of Eastern Star, Chapter M, P.E.O., a charter member of the Mentor Study Club, and
the Knoxville Public Library board.

She was united in marriage to Frank 0. Dixon
on June 9, 1920.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; a
daughter, Dorothy; a brother, Reese; and a sister, Vera. She is survived by a son,
Donald of Knoxville; a brother, Howard Kading of Knoxville; two grandchildren, and
five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Women.

Arrangements
were made by Bybee and Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville.
