Genia Lynn (Bittner) Robuck was born April 22, 1945, in Knoxville, Iowa the daughter of Frank Elmer and Marceline Nola (Wallace) Bittner.

She graduated from Knoxville High School in the Class of 1963.

On July 19, 1963, Genia was united in marriage to Dwayne “Pucky” Robuck, and to this union two sons, Michael and Jeffrey were born.

Genia was a cook and through the years, she had worked for A& W, Lil’ Duffer, Jerry’s Pizza, Casey’s, and the Knoxville School System. Prior to retirement she owned and operated Genia’s Pizza. Genia loved spending time with her family, friends, and her dachshunds.

Genia passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the Pleasant Care Nursing Center, in Pleasantville, at the age of 76 years.

In addition to her parents, Genia was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne, and siblings: Beverly Kamerick, Charles Bittner, Carol Bittner, and Janice Anderson, and brother-in-law, Jim.

Those left to cherish Genia’s memory include her sons: Michael (Melonie) Robuck and Jeffrey (Teresa) Robuck; grandchildren: Kieran Robuck and Quinlan Robuck; sister, Barb Onstank; in-laws: Dwight (Pat) Robuck and Carm (Dick) Darnell and many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

A Celebration of Life for Genia Robuck, age 76 of Knoxville, will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marion County Humane Society.  Genia has been cremated and burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at a later date.
