Graveside funeral services for Frances Geraldine (Ford) DeGoey, 72, of Knoxville, who died Monday,
March 4, 2002, at Knoxville Area Community Hospital, were held Thursday, March 7,
at Greenwood Cemetery in Marion County.

Pastor Tim Burk officiated at the services.
Casketbearers were Kenny DeGoey, James Fee, John Conrad, Don Zoutte, Don Engleking,
Nigel McGinnis and Randy Test.

Frances was born on February 8, 1930, in Red Rock,
Iowa, the daughter of Joe and Laura Taggart Ford. She graduated from Knoxville High School.

She married Kenneth DeGoey on November 24, 1951, in Melcher. They lived
their entire married lives in Marion County. In addition to being a mother and homemaker,
Frances worked for the Knoxville Maid-Rite for 20 years. She also enjoyed arts and
crafts and raising money for charitable foundations through the Eagles Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister; and one brother. She is survived by two daughters, Kena Conrad, and Linda McLaren; three sons, Randy,
Terry and Jeffrey, all of Knoxville; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and
many other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements
were made by Evans-McCleery Funeral Home.
