Services for Faye Starckovich, 75, of Melcher-Dallas will be Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church in Melcher-Dallas. Family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery Lacona, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of Faye’s family.
Faye was born June 24, 1943 the daughter of George and Ruth Burk and passed away Sunday, November 17, 2018.
She was united in marriage to Lee Starckovich on March 20, 1960 .
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee (b.Dec 10, 1939 d.Dec 19, 2015) ; son, Jerry (d.Aug 16, 2018); daughter-in-law, Tina (d.2009); parents: George and Ruth Burk; and siblings: Francis Machlin, Albert Burk, Thelma Pettyjohn, Bill Burk, Estella Davis, Carl Burk, and Mary Smith.
She will be greatly missed by her children: Tammie (Daryl) Cockriel of Kansas City, Johnnie (Karla) Starckovich of Parnell, Iowa, and Melissa (Antonio) Rivera of Kansas City; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Marion Burk; twin sister, Kaye Langebartels; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
