Services for Mrs. Clara Evelyn (Mills) Haag, 58, of 704 S.E. Twenty-fifth Court, who died of a heart ailment Monday, February 11, 1980, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines, Iowa.
Born in Vallard, Minn., on September 6, 1921. Mrs. Haag lived most of her life in Des Moines, where she was secretary for the Christian Church in the Upper Midwest and a member of Chesterfield Christian Church of Christ.
Clara was united in marriage to Alban Frank Haag, Febuary 3, 1940, in Ft Des Moines, Iowa.
Survivors include her husband, Alban; two sons, Dale and Donald, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Darlene Fitzgerald and Ethel Fitzgerald, both of Des Moines; three brothers, Roy Mills of Des Moines, and Harold and Arthur Mills, both of Bemidji, Minn., and 10 grandchildren.
