Evelyn Beatrice (Glover) Pidcock died on Jan. 19, 2005, in Colorado Springs, Colo., at the age of 72.

A lifelong resident of Knoxville, Pidcock was born on Aug. 5, 1932, in Knoxville, Iowa, the daughter of the late John O. Glover and Pearl I. Glover.

She retired from the Veterans Administration Food Service Department and worked at McDonald’s after her retirement.

Evelyn was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Knoxville.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 25 years, Kenneth C. Pitt, and her second husband Donald R. Pidcock.

She was also preceded in death by her brother Jerry Glover and her daughter Vicki Walden. Pidcock is survived by one daughter, Mary Beebout of Colorado Springs, and two sons, Kenneth (Bill) Pitt and Dwayne Pitt of Glenwood Springs, Colo. She is also survived by a sister, Alberta Rowley, three brothers, Raymond Glover, Dwight Glover, and Dwayne Glover, all of Knoxville; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
