Funeral services for Eugene Donald Blubaugh, 63, of Judsonia, Ark., formerly of Knoxville, who died June 8, 2000, was held Saturday, June 20 at the First Assembly of God in Searcy, Ark.

Reverend Vernon Ables officiated at the services. Diane Crawford was the organist and Kay Lawson was the pianist. Interment was at White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy, Ark.

Gene was born October 10, 1936, near Melrose, Ia., the son of Harry L. Blubaugh and Edna Ethel May.

He was employed in maintenance in an oil company, was the former owner of Gene's Shell Station and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Searcy and Searcy Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Chris Blubaugh; two sons, Gary Blubaugh of Marshalltown and Craig Blubaugh of Aberdeen, S.D.; four daughters, Linda King of Searcy, Pam Blubaugh of Marshalltown, Tammy Branson of Melcher, and Shawna Davis of Judsonia; his mother, Edna Blubaugh of Knoxville; one brother, Jack Blubaugh of Melcher; one sister, Norma Vandekamp of Searcy 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
