Services for Enid Olta Dennison, 83, of Knoxville, who died May 19, 1990 at Knoxville Area Community Hospital was held May 22 at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home.

Interment was in Gosport Cemetery. Rev. Raymond Moore officiated at the services. Music was provided by James Kidder, the organist. Pallbearers were Jim Funk, Asa and Chris Mann, John Liike, and Bill and Bert Dennison.

Ms. Dennison was born Dec. 21, 1906 in Marion County, the daughter of Robert and Jennie Bruett Dennison.

She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1925 and from Simpson College in 1929. Her teaching career included Dallas, Latimer, Chariton, Iowa Falls, Ames, Naperville, Ill. and Knoxville.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Knoxville, Methodist Women,
Knoxville Area Retired Teachers Association, Iowa State Education Association, D.A.R.,
Marion County Historical Society, and the Good Neighbor Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Margaret. She is survived by one nephew, Dennis Mann of Knoxville; three grand nephews and one grand-niece.

A memorial has been established to the Radio Ministry of the First United Methodist Church of Knoxville.
