Services for Emmajean De Witt, 87, of Knoxville, who passed away Feb. 16, 1991 at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital, were held Feb. 21 at Graceland Cemetery.
Emmajean was born on July 21, 1903 in Knoxville the daughter of John and Harriett Whaley Kamerick. She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1921.
She married Park 0. De Witt on Sept. 9, 1923 in Knoxville. They lived in Des Moines and Chicago for several years before retiring to Hollywood, Fla. in 1955.
Emmajean returned to Knoxville three years ago. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hollywood.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1968 and one brother John Kamerick in 1979.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
