Graveside services for Elma Ruth (Clements) Black, 85, of Knoxville, who passed away Oct. 6, 2004.
at the Griffin Nursing Center, will be held Saturday at Graceland Cemetery with
Rev. Edythe Hill officiating.

Black was born Nov. 3, 1918, in Knoxville to Harole
and Ruth (Himes) Clements. She was one of two children. Black graduated from Knoxville
High School and worked in her father's law firm until her marriage to Otto G. Jones
on Feb. 12, 1939. The couple had a son and spent most of their married lives living
in Arizona and California.

Jones passed away on May 14, 1981. On Sept. 30, 1982,
she married Arven Black, who passed away on May 2, 1992, in Stroudsberg, Pa.

Black was preceded in death by both of her husbands and one brother, Lewis Clements, of
Lakeport, Calif. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Larry and Beth Jones
of Teni 11; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson,
all of Texas; two step-daughters: Sally and Darrell Notara of New Jersey and Sheryl
and Richard Fawcett of Omaha, Neb. and Chariton.

Williams Funeral Home assisted
the family with the arrangements.
