Keril Elaine Mick passed away on December 8, 2020, in Topeka, Kansas.
Elaine was born June 17, 1947, to A. Gene (Woody) McCombs and Jesse McCombs in Knoxville, IA. Elaine graduated from Knoxville High School in 1965. She worked in the bookkeeping and accounting field for more than thirty years, retiring in 2012.
Her greatest enjoyment in life was her family and friends. She especially enjoyed her flower gardening and landscaping, music, and reading a fine book. She always maintained a healthy approach to life, filling it with humor and joy.jpg”> She is survived by her husband Bill, of 51 years; her children, Brian (Anissa) Mick, David Mick; her grandchildren, Trey and Chase Mick; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Kerry and Kirk McCombs.
At her request, cremation has taken place. Private interment will take place at Breckenridge Cemetery in Marion County, Iowa.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, Epilepsy Foundation, or a charitable organization of your choosing.
