Services for Edna S. (Snow) Mullane, 77, of Vinton, who died Nov, 28, 1984 at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton were held
Nov. 30 at Phillips, Funeral Home in Vinton with Dr. Raymond A. Boulter officiating.

Interment was in Graceland cemetery, Knoxville.

Mrs. Mullane was born on Oct. 23, 1907 at Knoxville, the daughter of Loren A. and Rena Sherwood Snow.

She attended State Teacher's College in Cedar Falls and began her teaching profession in the Parkersberg area. She taught school in the Vinton School System for 14 years before her retirement.

On March 5, 1962 she married J. P. Mullane in Cameron, Mo.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Vinton, The P.E.O. Sisterhood, Early Arts, Mentor Club, Minor Chord,and the Vinton Chapter No. 90 of O.E.S.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Merna Snow.

She is survived by her husband; one sister, Mrs. L. N. (Dorothy) Cloyed of Boone, N. C.; four nephews; her step children, Nancy and Gene Long of Vinton; two step grandchildren; and step greatgrandchildren.
