McConville, Michael Edward passed away on July 9, 2009 at the age of 84. Ed was born in St. Joseph, Missouri. He worked for McConville Coal Company as a coal miner in Iowa.
During WWII he enlisted in the Army, serving his country in the Philippines.
After returning from the war, he married Josephine Ellen “Jo” Kauzlarich, in 1946, his beloved wife of 64 years. Ed and his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1956, where he lived until his passing, enjoying a wonderful life with his children, grand children, and great grand children.
Ed is survived by: his loving wife, Jo; three children, Jan Houser, Mike McConville (Lois), and Mary Evans (Mike); five grand children, Michelle, Mark (Meg), Kathryn, Maggie, and Caleb; and two great grand children, Dylan and Emily.
A memorial mass will be held in Ed's memory on July 18, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Scottsdale.
