Services for Dwight Robert Harvey, 68, who died September 6,1983, were held September
8 at the First United Methodist Church. Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Interment was in Graceland Cemetery. Rev. John Beebout and Rev. Clayton Sugg officiated
at the services.

Music was provided by Darlene Mooberry, organist, and John Crawford,
vocalist. Pallbearers were Joe Templeton, Joe Huygens, Danny Harvey, Rick Harvey,
Mark Templeton, Wayne Westberg, Terry Harvey, and Will Prather.

Mr. Harvey was born
to Charles S. and Bertha Woody Harvey on August 24, 1915 in Marion County, Iowa.
He graduated from Knoxville High School in 1932.

He was married to Sarah Jane Templeton
on June 6, 1937. He served in the United States Navy and farmed near Red Rock for
a number of years. After his retirement from Iowa State Industries in 1981, he served
on the Industries Advisory Board.

Dwight is survived by his wife Sarah; his two
daughters, Celia Burger of Waterloo and Jean McKay of Knoxville; their husbands,
William Burger and Dan McKay. Dwight also leaves seven grandchildren: Bryce, Matthew,Dwight Harvey
Benjamin and Sarah Burger; Megan, Nigel and Aaron McKay. Dwight's mother, Bertha
Harvey of Knoxville also survives him as well as his brothers and sisters: Clifford
Harvey, Freeda West, Eugene Harvey of Knoxville and Aimee Breuklander of St. Louis,
Mo., and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to First United Methodist
Church or Knoxville Kiwanis.
