Donna Jean (Fee) Dyer, age 87, of rural Pleasantville, passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 at Westridge Specialty Care in Knoxville.

Donna was born September 15, 1932, the daughter of Glenn and Helen (Graham) Fee. Donna attended Knoxville High School and graduated with the Class of 1950. During high school, she played basketball and enjoyed intramural softball.

Donna began dating Ralph Dyer during her senior year, and they were united in marriage on October 17, 1952, at the Christian Church Parsonage in Knoxville. After marrying, they moved to California until Ralph completed his military obligation.

They moved back to rural Pleasantville in 1954, where they farmed and raised their family. They were blessed with two sons, Monty and Timothy.

Later she also enjoyed raising and showing Hereford cattle.

In 1954, Donna began working at the V.A. Hospital. She was then employed in Soil Conservation and later ran The Clothes Closet. Donna was the office manager at rural water in Knoxville for several years until her retirement.Donna Fee

Those left to cherish Donna’s memory include her husband, Ralph Dyer of rural Pleasantville; two sons, Monty (Shirley) Dyer of Pleasantville and Timothy (Rhonda) Dyer of Round Rock, TX; one brother, Graham (Roxanne) Fee of Knoxville; one sister, Glenna (William) Clarke of Knoxville; five grandchildren, Jason (Kristin) Dyer, Amanda (Luke) Fitzpatrick, Traci (Brandon) Townsend, Rhiannon Dyer, and Taylor Dyer; also four great-grandchildren, Jensen, Kaydin, Beka, and Treece.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Helen Fee.
