Donald Martin Derringer, 80, of Pella passed away on Wednesday evening February 21, 2024, at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Ver Ploeg-Stursma) Derringer of Pella; 5 children, Michael Derringer of Pella, Melinda Stibolt of Leon, IA, Mark and Brenda Stursma of Omaha, NE, Jonathan and Jaclyn Stursma of Huntsville, AL and Carol and Dan Bruxvoort of Grimes, IA.
Funeral services with military honors will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 10:30 am.
Covenant Reformed Church, Pella, Iowa.
Interment will be made in the Oakwood Cemetery at Pella.
Visitation with the family present will be on Sunday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Covenant Reformed Church in Pella.
Memorials in Don’s honor may be designated for the Hospice of Pella.
