Don Ernest LeMay was born on Nov. 13, 1937, in Knoxville. He was one of four children
born to Eula Ann Kline and Ernest Roy LeMay.

On July 17, 1958, Don was united in
marriage to Nancy Lorraine Slycord. To this union five children were born.

Don served
in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany and the US. Don was a jack
of all trades; he worked in farming, coal mining, truck driving and as a heavy equipment
operator. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, playing pool and spending time with his many
good friends.

Don passed away on Nov. 5, 2008, at the Knoxville Hospital at the
age of 70.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Ruth; one brother,
Marvin and one grandson, Lucas.

He is survived by his wife for over 50 years, Lorraine LeMay of Knoxville; four daughters, Debbie Walsh and her
husband, Craig of Des Moines, Peggy Bailey and her husband, Jeff of Knoxville, Vickie
Slycord and her husband, Jerry of Knoxville and Nancy LeMay and her fiance', Heath
Albright of Knoxville; one son and his wife, Donnie and Lorraine LeMay of Knoxville;
seven grandchildren, Tosha, Kelsey, Brittany, Jamie, Lindsey, Joey and Abbie; two
great-grandchildren, Paige and Grant; and one brother, Harry LeMay of Oskaloosa.
