Richard “Dick´´ Marvin Shilling passed away on August 4, 2011, surrounded by his family.
He owned and operated Dick´s Place in Mitchellville.

Dick loved playing pool, fishing, boating, mushroom hunting,, and NASCAR.

Dick is survived by his daughter, Julie (Jason) Ellsworth; sons, Jaimey (Geri) Shilling and Rick (Becky) Shilling;

eight grandchildren; and his siblings, Gary, Tom, Don, and Nancy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Thurlene Shilling; and his son, Jeff.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2011, at Hamilton´s Mitchellville Funeral Home,

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2011, at Hamilton´s Mitchellville Funeral Home, 303 Center Avenue S.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service, at the funeral home.
