8/4/2011 Richard “Dick” M. Shilling was born August 15,1942 and passed away August 4, 2011, surrounded by his family.
He owned and operated Dick’s Place in Mitchellville. Dick loved playing pool, fishing, boating, mushroom hunting and NASCAR.
Dick is survived by his daughter, Julie (Jason) Ellsworth; sons, Jaimey (Geri) Shilling and Rick (Becky) Shilling; eight grandchildren;
and his siblings, Gary, Tom, Don and Nancy.
He was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Thurlene Shilling; and his son, Jeff.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2011, at Hamilton’s Mitchellville Funeral Home, 303 Center Avenue S.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service, at the funeral home.
