Dennis Eugene Sage, 65, formerly of Knoxville, IA, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, IA.
Dennis, husband of the late Cheryl (Meseberg/Baker) Sage is survived by his two children: Eric Sage of Asheville, NC, Heather Sage of Oskaloosa, IA; three step-sons: Louis Baker (Brett) Bussan of TX, Carlos (Julie) Herrera and Jim (Tonya) Baker of Knoxville; seven grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren; and ten siblings: Charles (Patricia) Sage, Patricia Sage, Marilyn (Randy) Des Camps, Michael (Gloria) Sage all of Knoxville, Richard (Angie) Sage of Osceola, IA, Gary Sage, Barb (Dwight) Kennedy, Steve (Summer) Sage all of Colfax, IA, Linda (Jeff) Carter of Knoxville, and Dean Sage of Dallas, TX.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017— 5:00 to 7:30 pm. Columbia Community Center, Columbia Iowa, Inurnment with military honors will be held Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at Graceland Cemetery Knoxville, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are preferred for the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, IA or Columbia Fire & Rescue in Columbia, IA.
