Services for Dennis Ernest Holdren of Rosebud Missouri, who died Sept. 9, 1988 in Rosebud, were held at Gottenstroeter Chapel on Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
Kevin Weaver officiating. Interment was at St. James U.C.C., Charlotte, Mo.
Holdren was born in Creston on June 17, 1933 to Arnold Thomas Holdren and Marie Jesson Holdren.
He was united in marriage to Norma Jean Main on June 19, 1954. He was member of the St. James United Church of Christ, Charlotte, Mo. and the Owensville Masonic Lodge #624.
He was preceeded in death by a brother, Ernest Bill Holdren and mother, Marie Holdren. He is survived by his father Arnold Holdren of Knoxville, wife Norma Jean Holdren, children Arnold Holdren and wife Marjorie of Villa Ridge, Mo., Joyce Umphress and husband Paul of Bloomfield, Steven Holdren and wife Patricia of Bur bank, Ill., and Kimberly Czeschin and husband Calvin of Sapulpa, Ok.
He is also survived by sisters Betty Flanders of Attica and Barbara Tokheim of Des Moines, and brother Arnold Holdren of Pella and eight grandchildren.
