Lawrence “Dean” Stevenson, age 84, of Knoxville passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 17, 2013, at the West Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Knoxville.
Dean served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Navy. He traveled the world over.
Dean was very talented painter; he played piano, guitar and enjoyed life to its fullest. He will be remembered by many many friends and family.
Dean is survived by his wife, Peggy Joy Stevenson his bride of 46 years; five children; and three step children.
He was preceded by his parents, Joe and Myrtle Stevenson and his sister, Joann Wilson.
Dean’s wishes were to donate his body to the University of Iowa. No services are planned.
