Services for Dawn Yvette Jones of Rhein-Main, Germany, 21, who died Feb. 7, 1994, of injuries she sustained in
a motorcycle accident was held at 1:30 pm, February 16, 1994, at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville.

Miss Jones was born in Des Moines on Sept. 25, 1972, a day
that will never be forgotten.

She had lived in Knoxville before joining the Air
Force in 1993. She was an E2 airman.

Dawn was always trying to take on the world.
If she was ‘t going to school, working, or helping her family and friends, we all
knew she was playing. She enjoyed mudding, scooping the loop, talking with friends,
and of course being ornery.

After completing school and taking some time off for
herself and her loved ones, Dawn decided to join the Air Force. Dawn was very proud
to be in the Air Force. When walking down the street, she held her head high. Dawn
was doing what she had always wanted to do, serve our country.

Burial was at Newburn Cemetery. Pastor Damon Reese officiated at the services. SrA.
Jennifer Stice served as a special escort.

The honor guard was provided by Offutt Air Force Base, Omaha, Neb. Dawn attended school
in Knoxville and later the Des Moines Independent School System.

She joined the U.S. Air Force and reached the rank of E2 Airman. She had completed
13 months in the Air Force at the time of her death.
