Services for David (Bill) Stittsworth, 74, who died Dec. 22, 1981 at Loveland, Colo., were held Dec. 26 at Williams Funeral Home.

Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.
Dr. Leonard E. Deaver officiated at the services. Music was provided by Darlene Mooberry, organist.
Pallbearers were Jim Stittsworth, John Stittsworth, David Stittsworth, Kay Harsin, Howard Zimmerman and Bert Dennison

Mr. Stittsworth was born March 19, 1907 in Marion Co., the son of Amos and Martha Weaver Stittsworth.
He attended the Buckeye country school near his home, later attending Knoxville High School.

He was married to Ruth Core on Dec. 20, 1928 in Des Moines. He was engaged in farming all of his life, until his retirement in 1970. In 1973 they moved to Loveland.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Knoxville and the Church of the Good Shepherd in Loveland.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lori Christiansen at the age of 18, in a boating accident.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Loveland; a son, Larry of Longmont, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. M.R. (Laverne) Christensen of Loveland; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Bailey of Knoxville.
